WKU’s Cultural Enhancement Series and the Kentucky Museum are proud to host award winning artist Patrick Dougherty in October 2018 on WKU’s campus in Bowling Green, Ky. Dougherty creates large scale environmental sculptures made from intertwined tree saplings.

The Bowling Green Gallery Hop is a unique collaboration between the city's independent and non-profit galleries, museums, and studio centers. The Kentucky Museum and other art venues freely open their doors with extended hours for five Gallery Hop evenings. During the October 12 Gallery Hop the Kentucky Museum will show Salient Features, artist Charles Brindley.

WKU Faculty, Staff and students as well as community members are welcome to stop in the classroom to look at weaving techniques and materials. As well, weavers taking weaving workshops are welcome to continue their work.
