This exhibit tells the stories of freshmen year from participants in a student success intiative, WKU Freshmen Guided Pathway (FGP). This cohort of first-time, full-time students who graduated from one of five high schools in Warren County represent the typical WKU freshman in terms of academic achievement prior to admission and their demographic makeup.
Primarily featuring textiles from the Kentucky Museum and Kentucky Historical Society, Whitework: Women Stitching Identity explores the significance of early white embellished textiles that have been largely ignored, undervalued, and misinterpreted.
The WKU Dance Program proudly presents WinterDance 2020: A Digital Showcase. This season, the WKU Dance Company performs new faculty choreographed works for our digital world! Small and socially distanced group works allow our dancers and audiences to remain safe during this ongoing COVID-19 global pandemic. Our fully produced concert will utilize film production and digital release for a full concert experience! The camera will capture the diverse genres that our program offers through jazz, tap, ballet, modern, contemporary, and dance film choreographies. This concert will be shown exclusively online!
