This training will introduce participants to the recent surge of research that links brain and body health to mental wellness. More specifically, presenters will introduce concepts related to Integrative Mental Health, an approach that focuses on holistic mind/body healing. For example, we will discuss the use of the SPECT (Single-Photon Emission Computerized Tomography) imaging as a supplement to counseling and psychiatry.

  • Cathy Gamm, MA, LPCC: 

    Cathy Gamm graduated from Michigan State University and Western Kentucky University. During her 8+ years, Cathy has worked with children, adolescents, college students, adults, and members of the military both active duty and veterans. Cathy is trained in DBT, certified in Hypnotherapy, and has received training in Solution Focused therapy, Internal Family Systems, and Cognitive Behavior Therapy. She will be getting a certification as a brain health specialist in 2018. She is co-owner of More to Life Counseling in Bowling Green, KY.

  • Jonathan Lee, MA, LMFT: 

    Jonathan Lee graduated from Liberty University. During his 21 years in the mental health field, he was worked with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and members of the military both active duty and veterans. Jonathan is trained in DBT, NLP, Hypnotherapy, Solution Focused, and Reality Therapy. He will be getting a certification as a brain health specialist in 2018. He is co-owner of More to Life Counseling in Bowling Green, KY.

  • Participants will gain an understanding of the practices of Integrative Mental Health
