Understanding Adult Trauma

This training provides students and professionals with a comprehensive overview of trauma, including its prevalence, assessment, and key controversies in the field such as repressed memories. Participants will also explore contemporary, evidence-informed approaches for reducing trauma-related distress and for effectively working with trauma-related distress & support people affected by trauma.

Leadership for Professional Excellence

This program helps participants define and apply leadership theories while demonstrating effective communication and active listening skills to build trust and professional relationships. You'll analyze cultural competency challenges and apply inclusive leadership strategies that foster belonging in professional environments. The training develops problem-solving and critical thinking techniques through real-world scenarios, incorporating ethical decision-making models while building personal resilience and self-care strategies to prevent burnout. Interactive activities engage participants in practical application to enhance skills and reinforce key leadership concepts.

Child Sexual Abuse: What to Know and What to Do

This comprehensive training equips participants with essential knowledge and skills for child sexual abuse prevention, recognition, and response. You'll learn to identify warning signs and perpetrator behaviors, understand cultural factors that influence disclosure and response, respond effectively to suspected abuse or disclosures, and implement prevention strategies while supporting survivors and families. Designed for students, educators, health professionals, faith leaders, and community members, the training combines instructional content with interactive learning experiences.
