Advanced Motor Control and Power Electronics

The Center for Energy Systems is proficient with direct torque control, direct vector control, and indirect vector control. Characterization and qualification tests can be made using our dynamometer. Furthermore, research interests include renewable energy conversion, control, and integration with a smart grid; solar and wind technologies; and electric vehicles.



System Modeling and Simulation

Predict, assess, and improve system performance under customer conditions with a model based design.



Competitive Analysis

Identify uniqueness in customer product through comprehensive testing and analysis of competitors’ products. The Center for Energy Systems can propose or develop specific technology solutions to outperform competitors' products.



IP Landscape Analysis

Identify white spaces in enabling technology for key market features and  protect key technology hills based on customer business strategy and market forces.
