WKU's Civil Engineering program is part of the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences (SEAS). SEAS focuses on educating students to be leaders in a changing technical landscape, providing solutions to the problems facing the modern high-tech society, and providing a workforce to support the technological complexity of the industry.

Civil Engineering student

Civil engineers design, build, and maintain our nation’s infrastructure. Some of the things that civil engineers design include roads, bridges, buildings, foundations, water supply and waste-water facilities, stormwater management systems, and environmental protection facilities.
