The 34th Annual Matematics Symposium will be held at WKU on October 10-11, 2014. On Friday events will begin at 4:30 p.m. with refreshments and registration, and on Saturday events will begin at 8:00 a.m. The Symposium will take place on the 1st floor of Snell Hall.
Registration to this event is free, and there will be guest speakers from Boston University and the University of Illinois at Chicago.

Western Kentucky University Libraries has selected River Runs Deep, by Jennifer Bradbury, as the winner of the eleventh Evelyn Thurman Young Readers Book Award
Dr. David Keeling, Distinguished University Professor of Geography, returned recently from a Latin American expedition that visited seven destinations, completing a three-week journey representing WKU and the American Geographical Society.
Joel Pett, publitzer prize-winning editorial cartoonist will be speaking at the next Kentucky Live event on October 19.
Shelby Bandel, a graduate student in Psychological Sciences at WKU, is a recipient of a 2017 Graduate Research Scholarship from the American Psychological Foundation (APF) and the Council of Graduate Departments of Psychology.
