Nancy Perry

Nancy Perry is Deaf, was born Allen County, KY. She attended & graduated Kentucky School for the Deaf (KSD). She went to Gallaudet College for 2 & half years then later transferred to National Technical Institute for the Deaf (NTID) & graduated with Graphic Design. She worked Fruit of the Loom for 14 years. Later, Nancy worked as a ASL Lab Manager at WKU & graduated with BFA. From 2010 until present, she has been an ASL Tutor to tutoring at KSD & hearing signers. She has traveled many places for providing workshops, interpreting, volunteering for missions, involving Deaf-Blind Retreats & Christian Conferences & Retreats also few organizations' meetings.

During those years, 1990 to present she taught ASL at Bowling Green Community. Also she gave several workshops covering ASL topics such as classifiers, mouth morphemes, and how to interpreting with Deaf-Blind to encouraging signers & interpreters to help improve skills their skills to communicate more clearly for the Deaf Communities. Nancy is working with individuals who have language deprivation & language dysfunction. ASL are more important for Deaf people to understand more clearly & accurately.
