WKU Camp Care

Welcome to Camp Care!

Are you a young adult between the ages of 13 to 15 years old, eager to explore the exciting world of healthcare? Look no further! Camp Care is here to expose, engage, and onboard adolescents like you to the diverse roles and practices within the healthcare field offered at WKU (Western Kentucky University). Not only will you gain invaluable insight into various healthcare professions, but you'll also receive educational mentorship to support your journey towards a future career in healthcare. And parents, rest assured, we're committed to guiding your child through high school course planning to pave the way for their success in the healthcare industry.

Our Goal Is Simple:

Ignite a passion for healthcare among younger generations through positive, energetic, and firsthand educational activities. We aim to reach out to racially, socially, culturally, and economically diverse students in our community who are underrepresented in healthcare academics. By doing so, we hope to foster a more diverse representation in our future healthcare workforce. Additionally, we strive to highlight the abundance of educational and career opportunities available right here in our local community spaces, including WKU and Med Center Health.
