A citizen science project seeking to learn more about the Sun's size and shape.
SunSketcher is a mobile application set to release before the April 8th, 2024 solar eclipse. With the help of hundreds of thousands of individual volunteers across the United States, we seek to take measurements of, or "sketch" the Sun as the moon eclipses its path.
