Dr. John All is a geoscientist whose life has been devoted to exploration around the world as he examines how climate change and resource management interact to impact communities and the biosphere in mountainous regions.  Dr. All is an Associate Professor of Environmental Geography at Western Kentucky University and the Co-Founder and Executive Director of the American Climber Science Program (ACSP; www.climberscience.comwww.mountainscience.org ).  The ACSP brings together scientists, conservationists, students, and climbers to conduct research and engage in conservation activities in remote and mountain environments of the world. John has led expeditions and done research on five continents - from deep caves to tropical rain forest, deserts and the world’s highest mountains including Mt. Everest and numerous other noteworthy peaks across the world.  Dr. All is a Lifetime Fellow of the Explorers Club in New York City.  John has lived in intentional communities at Duke University and Stanford, he helped created the undergraduate Sustainability minor and the graduate Global Pathways to Sustainability Certificate at WKU, and is constantly trying to find ways to apply the lessons he has learned about sustainable living across the world in Bowling Green.
