Now in the North Carolina mountains, Jane and I are ten minutes away from three places which are very important to us: 1) downtown Asheville with its art galleries and restaurants, 2) the Blue Ridge Parkway and miles of hiking trails, and 3) the NC Center for Creative Retirement, which offers its own courses and lectures as well as easy access to events and classes at UNC-Asheville. Family and friends visit often.
