WKU Elizabethown-Fort Knox Adding Office Hours for VA Students

WKU is making it more convenient for VA students in the Elizabethtown area to utilize their VA educational benefits. Beginning this month, a WKU representative will meet students at the WKU Elizabethtown office to provide assistance and answer questions.

WKU Military Support Specialist Melissa Ballinger said she will travel to Elizabethtown to assist veterans who need help with the VA Online Orientation or completing a variety of forms and letters.

“There are many opportunities for veterans, and we want to make the process as simple as possible,” said Ballinger.  

WKU has an office located at Fort Knox, so military students have easy access to assistance on   base. Ballinger said that visiting the Elizabethtown office, she can make reach veterans who live outside Fort Knox more easily.
