Topper Hacks Competition December 5

Seventy-eight Barren County students have been selected to compete on December 5 in Topper Hacks, designed to challenge next-gen innovators and future entrepreneurs.
Topper Hacks, a competitive event for grades 5-9, will challenge students through a series of creative and problem-solving practical challenges. Students will compete in a series of challenges and practical applications including app design, website design, logo creative design and a BreakOut Edu digital competition.
The competition takes place Thursday, December 5 from 9 a.m.-1:30 p.m. at WKU in Glasgow and is offered through a collaboration between the WKU School of Engineering & Applied Sciences Computer Science Department, BC Skills, WKU in Glasgow and Appfire.
Winners from each category will receive a prize sponsored by WKU School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, and all competitors will be entered into a drawing for a Nintendo Switch. Winners will be announced during the Family Coding Night at the Innovation Zone on December 5 at 5:30 p.m.
