Professional Development Day

The inaugural Student Success Summit was presented on January 23, 2014. Each year since its inception, the event served as a time for the campus community to focus on student success by:

• Celebrating the collective work for student success being accomplished at WKU
• Learning from and alongside our colleagues through faculty & staff presentations on innovative ideas & best practices designed to promote student success
• Engaging in discussion and collaborative development of working strategies aimed at improving student retention, persistence, and graduation
• Working toward a common goal for the benefit of our students and community

 

In 2023, the Student Success Summit was re-imagined as Professional Development Day. This day includes professional development to help all faculty and staff gain skills for today's every changing higher education environment.
