The WKU Professional Development Day was redesigned in 2023 in response to campus feedback indicating a need for additional professional development opportunities across all divisions. What began as a conversation about how WKU could offer relevant training and education necessary for success in an ever-changing higher education environment, evolved into a one-day conference with opportunities to learn from one another, enrich the WKU employee experience, and celebrate excellence in higher education. In response to feedback, this year’s event will continue to focus on networking as well as a broad range of meaningful learning opportunities.
