Supporting Your Growth at WKU

I’m committed to supporting Western Kentucky University students as they navigate the academic, personal, and emotional experiences that come with college life. My work focuses on providing counseling and mental health support in a way that recognizes each student as a whole person, not simply a diagnosis, concern, or challenge.

My approach to counseling is integrative and holistic, meaning I draw from different therapeutic perspectives and tailor support to each student’s individual needs, experiences, strengths, and goals. I believe meaningful change happens through a supportive, collaborative relationship where students feel heard, respected, and empowered to better understand themselves and their experiences.

I also value collaboration beyond the counseling setting. Working alongside WKU campus resources and community partners allows me to help students connect with additional supports and resources when needed. My goal is to help create a network of care that supports students academically, personally, socially, and emotionally.

Above all, my goal is to support personal growth. College can be a time of significant transition, self-discovery, and change, and you do not have to navigate those experiences alone. Whether you are working through a current challenge, seeking greater self-understanding, or simply wanting to grow and develop new skills, I strive to provide a welcoming and supportive space where you can explore what matters to you and move toward the life you want to create.
