What are Microcredentials?

Microcredentials refer to concise and targeted credentials designed to impart sought-after skills, expertise, and practical experience.

Who Qualifies for Microcredentials?

Microcredentials are accessible to anyone aiming to advance their careers or enhance their earning potential, those requiring upskilling or contemplating a career shift, individuals looking to re-enter the job market, and even those seeking enjoyable and engaging learning experiences to support interests. Our GFCB Microcredentials do not require admission into the college or a degree.  Whatever your goal, there's likely a suitable GFCB microcredential available.

GFCB microcredentials are taught by experienced GFCB faculty. Microcredential programs are delivered 100% online or onsite at your business organization.

How Do Microcredentials Work?

GFCB microcredentials are developed with the end in mind - the skills and competencies needed for the ever-changing business environment.  Your business or organization can reach out to a member of our Outreach staff for a customized credential or you may be interested in a topic that is already listed in our catalog.  Successful completion of a Gordon Ford College of Business Microcredential will result in an electronic badge - that can be verified by your current or future employer(s).
