Join us for a 3 hour live Zoom Strengthening Business Practices training.

This training series, Strengthening Fiscal Management for Child Care Programs, addresses basic concepts in fiscal management for child care administrators. These trainings reinforce the belief that sound business practices improve the sustainability of child care businesses which support program initiatives aimed at improving outcomes for children. These trainings also support the proposed rule change to CCDF regulations (§ 98.16(z)) which states “the statutory requirement for Lead Agencies to describe how they develop and implement strategies to strengthen the business practices of child care providers to expand the supply, and improve the quality of, child care services. Some child care providers need support on business and management practices in order to run their child care businesses more effectively and devote more time and attention to quality improvements. Improved business practices can benefit caregivers and children.”

Training Outcomes:

Understand the definition and value of marketing efforts that are focused both externally and internally.

Be able to articulate your program’s features and benefits, and understand how to use each as marketing tools.

Appreciate how data can inform marketing efforts in order to achieve greater success, become more cost-effective, and use time more efficiently.
