This competitive juried exhibition showcases a selection of work in a variety of media created by students in the WKU Department of Art & Design.

The WKU campus and the surrounding community are invited to participate in the WKU Blood Drive benefiting the American Red Cross in November 2026.

Appointments are encouraged, but not required. 

There are many appointments available for the blood drive on November 2-4, 2026 from 10:30am - 4:30pm. While we encourage making an appointment, you can still walk in to donate. To make an appointment, visit RedCrossBlood.org and enter sponsor code WKU. or call 1-800-RED CROSS (1-800-733-2767).

Parking for community members donating will be at the South Lawn Lot. There will be 10 spaces reserved each day. 

Streamline your donation experience and save up to 15 minutes by visiting RedCrossBlood.org/RapidPass to complete your pre-donation reading and health history questionnaire on the day of your appointment. 

All blood types are needed to ensure a reliable supply for patients. A blood donor card, a driver’s license, or two other forms of identification are required at check-in. Individuals who are 17 years of age in most states (16 with parental consent where allowed by state law), weigh at least 110 pounds, and are in generally good health may be eligible to donate blood. High school students and other donors 18 years of age and younger also have to meet certain height and weight requirements.

Join WKU Global staff and student ambassadors for a short introductory presentation on global learning options at WKU. Learn about program types, funding your experience, logging into the WKU Global portal, and searching for program options. 

These sessions are hosted daily on Mondays-Thursdays in HCIC 1001. 

Western Kentucky University President Timothy C. Caboni announced that internationally recognized innovation expert, instructor at Stanford Online and Harvard’s DCE and bestselling author Jeremy Utley will serve as the speaker for the university's fourth annual Presidential Speaker Series event.

Utley will present Making AI More Human, a thought-provoking keynote address exploring how individuals and organizations can unlock the full potential of generative artificial intelligence. Drawing on cutting-edge research featured in The Wall Street Journal, Utley argues that many professionals fail to realize AI's greatest value because they approach it as they would any other technology. His presentation will challenge attendees to rethink their relationship with AI and demonstrate practical strategies for using these rapidly evolving tools to enhance creativity, problem-solving and innovation.

His presentation will begin at 7:00 p.m. CST on Tuesday, November 3, in WKU’s Van Meter Auditorium.
