WKU’s Cultural Enhancement Series and the Kentucky Museum are proud to host award winning artist Patrick Dougherty in October 2018 on WKU’s campus in Bowling Green, Ky. Dougherty creates large scale environmental sculptures made from intertwined tree saplings. His next installation will be located in front of the Kentucky Museum. Madagascar: The Threats to a Biodiversity Hot Spot and...Lemurs!

Learn about the history and evolution of the island of Madagascar and the ongoing study of their unique endemic species. The presentation will also showcase the biodiversity struggles brought on by a population onslaught, and Jane will also share about her experience with the lemurs of Madagascar.
