This date marks the begining of WKU's three week participation in the nationwide residence hall energy and water reduction competition for college campuses called Campus Conservation Nationals 2013. It is also the begining of a statewide energy reduction competitioin between WKU, UofL, UK, and Berea. All WKU students, faculty, and staff who use the residence halls are highly encouraged to make a conscious effort to turn off and unplug all unnecessary lights and electronic devices during this time.
This opportunity will inform you about the candidates for President, Executive Vice President and Administrative Vice President, the three officers of the administration who are elected by the WKU student community. Each candidate will present their platform and be asked relevant policy questions by Dr. David Lee, dean of Potter College of Arts and Letters, and Monica Spees, editor-in-chief of the College Heights Herald. A mini iPad will be awarded to one lucky attendee. If you cannot join us in person, please find us online at www.wku.edu/sga/debate to watch the debate and chat about the proceedings. Tweet your questions to us at @WKUSGA. We will be reading them during the debate.
