Western Kentucky University’s League of Legends team added another championship to its growing list of accomplishments, capturing the Union 10 League of Legends Championship during the Spring 2026 competitive season.

The Hilltoppers demonstrated their competitive skill, teamwork, and dedication throughout the tournament, earning the championship title and bringing another victory home to WKU.

The championship reflects the continued growth of WKU’s Varsity Esports program and the commitment of its student-athletes to competing at a high level in collegiate esports. Through countless hours of practice, strategic preparation, and teamwork, the team has continued to establish itself within the collegiate competitive scene.

The Union 10 Championship is another milestone for a program that continues to expand its competitive opportunities and provide student-athletes with meaningful experiences beyond the classroom.
