WCGTC World Conference

SYLLABUS

ELED, MGED, or SEC 545
1 hour of graduate credit

One hour of graduate credit requires twenty (20) hours of attendance in sessions at the 2021 WCGTC Virtual World Conference. Students will submit four reflections, one for each day of the World Conference.  Each reflection should be 2-3 pages. Additionally, students must include 5-6 pages summarizing a concept or strategy that can be applied in his/her work and an implementation plan. Potential topics could include a new teaching strategy to implement, a research study to conduct, or some other application learned at the World Conference. 

Attendees will enroll in one hour of graduate credit during the Summer Session (July/August 2021) at Western Kentucky University. The assignments should be submitted in a single Word document that is double-spaced with 1-inch margins. The font should be 12-point Times New Roman.

Step 2: Apply for admission as a non-degree seeking student from the WKU Graduate School.

• You will need to submit an official transcript showing the completed undergraduate degree and the one time application fee of $65.
• If you choose to pursue a degree through WKU at a later date, you will need to reapply with Graduate Studies as a degree-seeking student 
• You will receive an email confirming your registration.
