Mission Statement

Black Women of Western (B-WOW) is dedicated to helping yournng women, who self-identify as women of color, successfully navigate through the college experience as Western Kentucky University (WKU) students. B-WOW aims to foster a sense of belonging, promote engagement (both in and outside the classroom), encourage accountability, and articulate the benefits of a higher education and the expectations and values that are expected of a WKU Student.
