Chinese Flagship

The Chinese Flagship program is designed to bring talented students who start with no knowledge of Chinese up to Superior levels of proficiency by the time they graduate from college.

Study Abroad & Global Learning

The Office of Study Abroad and Global Learning serves the WKU community by engaging students, faculty, and staff in diverse, educational, and cultural experiences through faculty-led, exchange, consortia, and other study abroad opportunities. Additionally, WKU has students in more than 40 countries around the world through partnerships with the Cooperative Center for Study Abroad and the Kentucky Institute for International Studies.

Office of International Programs

The Office of International Programs serves to enhance WKU's international profile by working closely with students, faculty, and staff, both domestic and foreign. The office also coordinates the International Year Of... program, intended to provide the WKU campus and surrounding community with a rich, complex sense of place and interconnectedness through a year-long celebration and emphasis on a single region/country.

Global Education Partnerships

WKU is proud to have strong global education partnerships. ESLI is focused on preparing students from non-English speaking countries to successfully enter and study at North American universities.
