ARCH Exchange
Exchange Ideas. Build Connections. Make an Impact.
The ARCH Exchange is a monthly gathering hosted by the CAYA ARCH Institute that brings together faculty, staff, applied research centers and labs, CAYA Collaborative Care, and community partners who share an interest in research, service, community engagement, and improving community health and well-being.
Designed as an informal space for connection and collaboration, the ARCH Exchange gives participants an opportunity to learn about work happening across WKU and the community, share ideas and expertise, explore emerging needs, and identify opportunities to work together.
Each Exchange includes time for networking, updates from the CAYA ARCH Institute and community partners, discussion of ongoing or emerging work, and activities designed to help participants make meaningful connections. The goal is simple: connect people, projects, resources, and opportunities that might not otherwise find one another.
The ARCH Exchange reflects one of the central purposes of the ARCH Institute—creating stronger connections across disciplines and between the university and the communities we serve. Whether someone is looking for a research partner, community expertise, student involvement, evaluation support, or simply wants to learn more about work happening across the region, the Exchange provides a place to start.
ARCH Exchange events are held throughout the academic year at Western Kentucky University. Event-specific dates, times, and locations for this year are provided.
ARCH Exchange Network
The connections made through the ARCH Exchange do not have to end when the event is over. The ARCH Exchange Network is an opt-in directory designed to help WKU faculty, staff, community partners, and other Exchange participants stay connected throughout the year. The Network makes it easier to identify people with shared interests, find potential collaborators, and continue conversations that begin through ARCH Institute activities.
Participants who choose to join the Network can make basic professional contact information available on this website to others who are interested in building partnerships, sharing expertise, or connecting around research and community needs.
