Message from the Dean

At WKU we take seriously our vision: A leading American university with international reach. Our more than 50 graduate programs provide outstanding learning experiences and are focused on the successes of our students, both during their graduate studies and thereafter as alumni. The diversity of our graduate programs is broad, and range from professional certification programs to research-based degrees. Weaving through them all are intellectually exciting opportunities catalyzed by an inspiring faculty.

At WKU we measure success by that of our students on the national and international arenas. Their collective accomplishments and outstanding careers are the best reflection of the quality of our programs.

We seek students interested in joining our intellectual community, be it in traditional classrooms, the research laboratory or through electronic media. Our institutional theme of student engagement underscores our expectations for students and faculty alike. Although WKU has grown in size, reputation and accomplishment, we hold firmly to our tradition of student centeredness.
