Philanthropy & Alumni Engagement Staff

Mindy Campbell is from Oceanside, Calif. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego. After graduation, she spent several years working on newspapers across the United States including California, Oregon, Tennessee, Virginia and Iowa. As a military spouse, she spent many years in Germany and South Korea working for the United States Army’s Public Affairs Office and in education with the Department of War Education Activity, the federal government’s school system.    

In July 2026, Mindy relocated from Fort Knox, Ky., to Bowling Green where she serves as an Assistant Director of Philanthropy & Alumni Engagement for Public Media, a joint appointment between the Division of Philanthropy & Alumni Engagement and WKU Public Media. Mindy is excited to serve as the primary liaison between PAE and Public Media, helping strengthen the pipeline of loyal supporters while growing major gift philanthropy to sustain Public Media's mission.
