Philanthropy & Alumni Engagement Staff

Sam Kurtz earned a Bachelor of Science in Management with a concentration in Business Administration and a minor in Political Science from WKU in 2025. After graduation, Kurtz worked in sales with Clayton & Crume, a Louisville-based full grain leather goods company founded in a WKU residence hall.

 

In March 2026, he joined the WKU Philanthropy & Alumni Engagement staff as Assistant Director of Philanthropy & Alumni Engagement. With a passion for building connections and supporting the mission of higher education, Kurtz is excited to help strengthen relationships between WKU and the Hilltopper community.
