Philanthropy & Alumni Engagement Staff

Jasmina Mehmedovic, a St. Louis, Mo., native, graduated from the University of Missouri–St. Louis in 2019 with a  Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. During her time in St. Louis, she gained professional experience in finance, accounting and business management. Shortly after completing her undergraduate degree, she moved to Bowling Green, Ky. 

During her time in Bowling Green, Jasmina continued her accounting career but held a passion for a role that allowed her to connect people. She hopes to utilize her background in business and finance as a strength in her role at Western Kentucky University by building diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives and honoring our alumni. 

Jasmina joined Philanthropy & Alumni Engagement in April 2022 as the Assistant Director of Alumni Engagement & Philanthropy. In this role, Jasmina works with our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Council and leads diversity, equity and inclusion programs. She also serves as the staff lead for the Society of African American Alumni, the Topper Pride Alumni Chapter and any future identity-based alumni groups. Jasmina oversees alumni achievement programs, lifelong learning programs and alumni memorials and legacies.
