Biography

Originally from Bowling Green, Mitchell Berman graduated from WKU in 2005 with a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and a minor in Psychology. After graduation, he spent four months in Africa volunteering for the Jane Goodall Institute working with students on environmental education.

Mitchell spent the next five years in Tacoma, Wash., doing phase one clinical trials and observational research at the University of Washington. In 2013 he returned to Bowling Green and began working for Assured Partners Insurance Company. An avid supporter of the arts, he joined the Fountain Square Players in 1990 and was elected to the Fountain Square Players Board in 2018. He is currently serving as the President of Fountain Square Players.

Excited to return home to the Hill, he joined Philanthropy & Alumni Engagement in January 2019 as the Assistant Director of Leadership Annual Giving. In March 2020, Philanthropy & Alumni Engagement implemented a new Donor Experience Officer program, and he was one of the first to join that program.
