Philanthropy & Alumni Engagement Staff

Deanna M. Jenkins began her career at WKU in 2009 as the Constituent Relations Assistant in Development and Alumni Relations, now Philanthropy & Alumni Engagement. In 2010, she began serving as the Coordinator of Grant Writing and Foundation Research, and in 2012 she took on the role of Communication Specialist. She currently serves as the Associate Director of Communication for the Division and Co-Editor of WKU SPIRIT Magazine. In this role, Deanna works on many written projects including news releases, magazine articles, grant applications and reports, proposals, and other communication responsibilities. Deanna graduated from WKU in 2009 with a Bachelor of Arts in History with a minor in Art History and in 2017 with a Master of Public Administration degree.
