School of Nursing Faculty and Staff

Jennifer Goodpaster began her nursing career in 1994 after graduating with an Associate Degree in nursing.  She later completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2007 and Masters Degree in Nursing Education in 2008 from the University of Phoenix.  She has a nursing practice background in labor and delivery, post-partum and nursery, cardiac step-down, cardiac cath lab, interventional radiology, and infection control.  Prior to coming to Western Kentucky University, she has instructed students in a variety of nursing programs and clinical arenas and held positions as LPN Program Coordinator, Clinical Coordinator and Course Lead.   

Jennifer Goodpaster is a full-time instructor in the LPN – ASN program at WKU.  She will be teaching the LPN – ASN Transition course, along with Med/Surg I Skills Lab and Med/Surg II Clinical.  She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.  Jennifer loves to teach and spend time with family.
