Kentuckians have practiced the art of weaving for more than 200 years.
Techniques represented in Even Coverlets Get the Blues range from overshot, double weave, and tied-biederwand to hooked rug making.
HAD Artist Collective Murals
- Location: Kentucky Museum - Courtyard

Anel Lepić and Muhamed “Hamo” Bešlagic, two HAD Collective artists from Bosnia, carved murals in the Kentucky Museum courtyard.
Highbrow, Patrick Dougherty Sculpture
- Location: Kentucky Museum Front Lawn
- Time: 9:00am - 4:00pm
WKU’s Cultural Enhancement Series and the Kentucky Museum host award winning artist Patrick Dougherty in October 2018 on WKU’s campus in Bowling Green, Ky. Dougherty created Highbrow, a sculpture made from intertwined tree saplings, on the Museum's front lawn.
Jacqui Lubbers: A Legacy in Weaving

GFCB Preview Day 2019

GFCB Preview Day 2019 is a student-centered event for prospective incoming students that provides information regarding everything from academics to student life. This is a unique opportunity for families to visit WKU on the weekend in a relaxed atmosphere. Students and their families can meet current GFCB students as well as faculty and staff members who are ready to help them for their next four years.

Winter Super Saturdays
- Location: WKU Main Campus
- Time: 9:30am - 12:00pm
Super Saturdays encourages students in grades 1 – 8 who are of high ability or have high interest in a topic to pursue their passions outside the regular classroom. Through a hands-on, minds-on approach to learning, students explore and investigate such areas as math, art, science, history, writing, music, and performance under the thoughtful guidance of experienced teachers and in the company of enthusiastic, like-minded peers. Each year, over 1000 students enjoy the benefits of Super Saturdays.

Potter College of Arts & Letters Preview Day
