A collaborative exhibition of artwork created by young artists with disabilities and local artists will be on display at the Kentucky Museum. Meet the artists at the reception on Saturday, April 14, from 2 PM - 4 PM in the Dorothy Grider Garden Gallery.
Mark your calendar and begin training for the twelfth annual LifeSkills Run for Autism! This event will include something for everyone: a 4 Mile Run, a 1 Mile Kid's Run, and a 1 Mile Fun Walk. The event will take place at the Bowling Green Ballpark, home of the Bowling Green Hot Rods.
Registration must be received by March 31st to be guaranteed an event T-shirt.
** Children (12 & Under) walk free with a paid adult, but registration must be completed. The 1 Mile Kid's Fun Run is a separate event.
Southern Kentucky Book Fest is one of the state’s largest literary events and is presented by Barnes & Noble Booksellers, Warren County Public Library, and WKU Libraries. Held annually in April, the Book Fest draws thousands of readers of all ages who welcome the occasion to meet their favorite authors and purchase signed copies of their books.
The 2018 SOKY Book Fest will be our 20th and is a fundraiser for the promotion of literacy in our community. The event is free and open to the public. Please note that all books signed at SOKY Book Fest must be purchased at the festival. No previously purchased books are allowed to be signed.
The Museum is offering Pay As You Willeach Saturday from February 3 through May 26. The Kentucky Museum wants to ensure that everyone in our community can see our exhibits.
Each Saturday, instead of standard admission prices guests will make a donation of admission--- at whatever amount. By eliminating cost barriers, it is our hope that more people can visit the Museum*. The Museum houses six major permanent exhibits and several changing exhibits. Visitor parking is available.
*Please remember the Museum is always free to all WKU faculty, staff and students with a WKU ID. Pay as You Will Saturdays does not apply to scheduled docent guided tour groups.

The WKU Mini Maker Faire is the first-annual licensed Maker Faire in Bowling Green, KY. A maker faire is a hands-on family-friendly event featuring both WKU and community â€œmakersâ€ who come together to share their enthusiasm with participants. It will include a wide variety of tech enthusiasts, crafters, educators, tinkerers, food artisans, hobbyists, engineers, science clubs, artists, students, and commercial exhibitors.
