Dr. Yan will answer some questions puzzling students on Taoism and Buddhism that she has collected during her stay here and she will introduce some ideas from a very interesting ancient book—The Yi Jing (Classic of changes 易经), which is thought to be the origin of Traditional Chinese culture. Participants and Dr. Yan will try to understand ancient oriental wisdom. Dr. Yan earned her PhD degree on Traditional Chinese Medicine from Beijing University of Chinese Medicine, China's flagship institution for Traditional Chinese Medicine. Her main research fields are the philosophy of traditional Chinese Medicine, Taoism and Buddhism.
