Recycle
WKU has some of the best recycling facilities in the state! Thanks to our partnerships with several recycling organizations, WKU is able to offer single stream recycling as well as recycling for other unique items. WKU recycles all paper, plastic, aluminum, glass and cardboard. Battery recycling is available on the the first floor of every building on campus. Batteries can be placed in the blue bucket! Other unique items like paint, electronics and pharmaceuticals can be recycled at Warren County's Household Hazardous Waste Day.
WKU has a goal of achieving a waste diversion rate of 35% by the year 2020, so recycle your waste to help us accomplish this goal!
