WKU Apartments on Kentucky Street
Opening in the Fall of 2012 are the new WKU Apartments on Kentucky Street, brought to you by the Department of Housing & Residence Life at WKU. These 2 bedroom units will be available to WKU Juniors and Seniors. Each lessee will have their own bedroom and share a common space kitchen and living room. This on campus apartment option allows students to have the experience of living off campus with the convenience of living steps away from the Hill. All units are identical and come with the following amenities:
- Fully furnished with a couch, coffee table, bar stools, full size bed, dresser and nightstand
- Stainless Steel Appliances - refrigerator, stove, dishwasher
- Washer and Dryer
- Crown Molding
- Granite Counter Tops
- Utility Closet
- Closets in Bedroom with Wire Shelving
- Tiled Bathrooms
- Ceiling Fans in Living Room and Bedrooms

- Covered Parking (a student housing parking permit is required)
ELIGIBILITY
- Full time and approved part time students
- Junior and Senior Classification
APARTMENT FACTS
- 11-month lease with option for 12
- Rental Rate: $425/month/person
- Utility (Electricity) Allowance - $40/month/person, all others included
- Cable and Internet included in rent
SIGN-UP PROCESS
During the annual renewal process, there will be an option on February 27 and February 28 for Seniors and Juniors to select these apartments. "APT" will be the building name in the drop down box of available hall choices and each apartment will have an occupancy of two. The process is the same as for the residence halls with regard to selecting the apartment and pulling in a roommate. Sophomores and Freshmen will not be eligible to be pulled in as roommates and first priority will be given to those students who are currently living on campus. Once the units fill, we will create a wait list in case openings occur at a later date.
