Commencement

Disability Accommodations

Students or guests with disabilities requesting disability accommodations should contact WKU Student Disability Services (SDS) at (270) 745-5004 or Matt Davis at matt.davis@wku.edu. In order to meet these requests, please contact SDS two weeks prior to commencement. Requests made after that time will be handled on a case-by-case basis. SDS will make every effort to accommodate all requests.

Graduation is very well-attended, and we encourage anyone with mobility or health issues to arrive early. If you use a wheelchair, cart, or other specialized equipment, please bring it with you. Wheelchairs and other mobility assistive devices will be the responsibility of the attendee. A sign language interpreter will be on the right side of the stage (facing the stage).

Parking

A limited number of parking spaces will be reserved in the parking lot adjacent to Diddle Arena for individuals who possess a disability parking permit.

Accessible Seating

Diddle Arena's accessible seating is located on the second level of the arena. One additional guest may accompany the attendee with a disability to this area. To assure accessible seating for all who need to be accommodated, we ask that other guests be seated near the accessible seating areas.
