Dr. David Beckworth is a former international economist at the U.S. Department of the Treasury. He has conducted research on the assessment of monetary policy, the transmission mechanisms through which it works, and its impact on the global, national, and regional economics. He has published in several leading scholarly journals including Economic Inquiry, Applied Economics Letters, Journal of Macroeconomics, The Cato Journal, and the North American Journal of Economics and Finance.
