Veterans Upward Bound (VUB) is a federal TRIO program funded by the U.S. Department of Education, to help U.S. military veterans enter into and succeed in postsecondary school. VUB is a non-profit program serving veterans from an eight county area surrounding Bowling Green, and COSTS NOTHING for those who participate.
All services, books and instruction are completely FREE OF CHARGE for those who qualify.
VUB is located on the lower end of the Western Kentucky University main campus, in Jones-Jaggers Hall room 127. Visitors to VUB will need a free parking pass in order to park. Passes can be obtained by first parking in the 10-minute zone directly in front of the building, entering the VUB side entrance (the paved walk in front of the 10-minute zone), and then obtaining a visitor's parking pass from the director or other staff member, who can then instruct you where to park.
