Current SKyTeach Students
Internships
We offer unique internship opportunities for our students. Interns are paid a generous
stipend to work 10 to 20 hours a week with a non-profit organization in the Bowling
Green area that provides educational services. Some internships may also be available
in the summer. Please contact our office for more information.

Scholarships
WKU students enrolled in SKyTeach are eligible to apply for a number of scholarships.
Awards will be based on need and academic credentials. The scholarships are renewable
and based upon successful continuation in the SKyTeach program. For more information,

The WKU Robert Noyce Teacher Scholarship Program, with funding from the National Science Foundation, is also available to SKyTeach students. It aims to prepare a total of 39 Science and Mathematics majors who are committed to teaching high school in a high need district in the region. To apply for this scholarship, please call our office at 270-745-3900.
Western Kentucky University offers a variety of scholarships to qualifying students including Merit Scholarships, Tuition Incentive Program, Departmental Scholarships and Alumni Grants. Scholarships are available to freshmen, returning students and transfer students from community or junior colleges. Some scholarships from Western are renewable each academic year while others are awarded one time only. View more information about WKU scholarships.
