Planned Power Outage - July 14 - 18, 2014

 

There will be a planned power outage affecting Ivan Wilson Fine Arts Center.
Power will be shut down at 8:00 am on Monday, July 14.  Power is expected to be restored to the building by the close of business on Friday, July 18.

This is necessary to implement permanent repairs to electrical systems damage incurred on the morning of March 26, 2014, and at the same time transfer the building electrical service to the new 12,470 volt campus distribution system.


The only building affected by this outage is IWFAC.

Planned Power Outage - July 22, 2014

 

There will be a planned power outage affecting Northeast Hall, Southwest Hall, Bates Runner Hall, and Parking Structure #1.

Power will be turned off at 8:00 am on Tuesday, July 22. Power will be restored to North Hall, Bates Runner Hall, and Parking Structure #1
at approximately 10:00 am (same day).


Power will be restored to East Hall and Southwest Hall at approximately 8:00 pm (same day).

Note that Northeast Hall, North has a separate electrical service entrance from East.

This is necessary to transfer the electrical service entrance of Southwest Hall and East Hall to the new 12,470 volt campus distribution system.

Planned Power Outage - July 23, 2014

 

There will be a planned power outage affecting McLean Hall and Grise Hall.
Power will be shut off at 8:00 am on Wednesday, July 23.  Power will be restored to Grise Hall at approximately 4:00 pm (same day).  Power will be restored to McLean Hall at approximately 8:00 pm (same day).

This is necessary to separate Grise Hall from McLean Hall which share a
primary electrical distribution circuit and then transfer McLean to the new
12,470 volt campus distribution system.


At this time, Grise will remain on the old 4160 volt distribution system.
McLean and Grise are the only two buildings affected by this outage.
