SunSketcher app available for iOS, Android devices

SunSketcher, a smartphone app developed by WKU faculty and students as part of a NASA-funded citizen science project to capture images of the total solar eclipse on April 8, is available in the App Store for iOS devices and on Google Play for Android.

A WKU team tested the SunSketcher app during an eclipse in Texas. The app captures Baily's Beads during eclipses, and users' images help analyze the Sun's shape for solar research and testing gravity theories.
