The annual WKU Student Research Conference showcases student excellence in scholarly activities across multiple disciplines. This annual event provides opportunities to recognize WKU students and their contributions to their respective disciplines.

The Student Research Conference is organized by the WKU Student Research Council (http://www.wku.edu/studentresearch/ ), with generous support from the Office of the Provost.
With new partnerships at Kentucky Downs and Mission Catering, WKU Learn and Earn extends scholarship and employment opportunities to Simpson County.
The Gatton Academy of Mathematics and Science in Kentucky has selected 95 Kentucky sophomores for the Class of 2019.
Sixty-five students showcased their knowledge of Chinese language and culture during the Confucius Institute at WKU’s inaugural Chinese Bridge Competition on March 25.
White Squirrel Weather Staff, along with other WKU and community emergency responder groups, participate in "Enhanced Sports and Special Events Incident Management" FEMA training workshop held on campus.
