Double Reed Ensemble

The WKU Double Reed Ensemble performs music written or arranged for a combination of oboes, English horns, bassoons and contrabassoons. This active ensemble performs on campus in events such as the PRISM Concert and WKU Double Reed Day and in community engagement settings at schools and juvenile detention centers. The Double Reed Ensemble performs music from many periods, from the Renaissance to newly commissioned works. Those interested should contact Dr. Kristin Polk.
