
Graduate Council
The Graduate Council has general supervision and control over all matters of graduate instruction, including admission and degree requirements, curricula, Graduate Faculty membership, and general academic regulations. The Graduate Council submits recommendations concerning initiation or revision of graduate courses and programs through the University Senate to the Academic Vice President. The Council is composed of the Dean of Graduate Studies and Research as chairperson, three faculty members elected by and from the Graduate Faculty of each of the academic colleges offering graduate courses, and five students - one graduate student member elected by and from the graduate students of each of the academic colleges offering graduate courses.
