During this course (offered in the Blackboard Ultra Course View), faculty will complete five modules over seven weeks and spend about three to five hours per module exploring best practices of teaching and learning in higher education. These modules include topics on course design, student engagement, classroom management, assessment strategies, and trends and issues in teaching and learning such as generative AI and demonstrating teaching effectiveness. Modules will be successfully completed by reviewing module content and resources, and submitting various course materials or reflections in preparation for the coming semester.
