Bailey Mack is an International Affairs and Spanish double major from Louisville, KY. She joined the Flagship as a sophomore and never looked back, spending summer of 2012 in an intensive language program in Taiwan. She returned to Taiwan for the summer of 2013 after receiving scholarships from WKU, Phi Kappa Phi, and the Taiwanese government. Bailey is a member and current vice-president of Omega Phi Alpha, a lifetime member of the Girl Scouts, recently named Pearson Fellow and has just completed her first year skating for Vette City Roller Derby. As a student assistant, she enjoys meeting new students and helping take advantage of everything WKU has to offer. She has studied abroad in Taiwan twice for intensive language study, and five weeks in the Peruvian Amazon volunteering with jungle conservation efforts.
"My favorite aspect about the Chinese Flagship Program is having a group of students that may have nothing in common but the desire to learn Chinese, and developing language levels and relationships simultaneously."
